When you want to improve your financial and personal life in 2020, start with these 4 lessons as these are powerful and yet easy to start out with ;)

I hear so many people always talking about what we need to change, and that things are so difficult. How can I be successful and make money and even create passive income, well, it always starts with yourself.

The first lesson you need to understand is the lesson of embarassment.
Don’t worry what others think of you, don’t worry about what others might think of your actions, in the end, it is all about you.. You are the main character in your life, all the others play a huge role, but in the end, it is about you. So don’t worry too much about others. Not everyone is going to agree with you, not everyone is going to like you, and that’s all fine, but accept the world is like that. Accept people around you are like that. Don’t feel embarassed by what you do, that’s who you are, and what you choose to do. Live with it!

The second lesson is gratification. When we believe we should reward ourselves, the easiest way is to reward ourselves instantly, but in so many cases, delaying our gratification will reap bigger rewards, but it is the patiences and unknown situation causing us to go for the instant reward, and hoping we will also get the bigger rewards as well. But just like money, you can only spend it once, and with gratification the same principle apply. You can’t get the instant reward and the delayed reward as well. So in so many cases, make a clear choice, do you want the bigger reward or the instant reward… Think about it, investing works exactly the same, get the 1% win, or will you get the hugely grown portfolio in which it could grow over 100% of profit….

The third lesson is that we seek validation in what we do. Great, please do so, but don’t forget, it is not about proving anything to others, when you do things to impress others, then you’re doing things wrong. When you want to check something, and double check something you’ve done, that’s good, but when you seek validation of others, to impress them, then I’ll tell you this, in the end, no one really cares about your ego… If you need a praise, sure, if you need a compliment, sure. If you want others to be impressed by the amount of money you have, or the amount of money you can make, well.. Most likely if you do not inspire them, they will not be impressed by who you are or what you show them.

The fourth lesson I want to share with you is the fear of unknown. Because we don’t know what will happen with the investment we did, we tend to go for the things we do know… And that’s the stability in our lives sometimes, but as warren buffett and robert kiyosaki have described, delaying your rewards, and going for the unknown, yet fully prepared, can get you further than always staying in the safe zone.. And then hoping luck will strike you and give you the things you want in life… But if you want to take control of your life, personally and financially, the first step you need to take is make a choice… Instant gratification or delaying it, and reap bigger rewards later.
